Battlefield 2042 beta date has been announced that will be available starting October 6, with full access starting October 8* and running until October 10. With pre-purchase, you can get full access to the game and some exclusive items.
You’ll be playing Conquest on the map Orbital as one of 4 Specialists: Boris, Casper, Falck, and Mackay. This Battlefield 2042 guide will talk about essential things that you need to know to learn the game faster.
Tip 1: Earn More XP
Earning experience XP points in the game is somewhat similar to other games in which you have to follow an objective followed by actions such as kills, assists, and other support actions.
Concerning that, Ribbons are one of the best ways to earn XP. Complete different objectives to earn Ribbon up to 3 tiers, and you will earn more XP with this. The more progress you make on a specific Ribbon, the more XP you’ll earn at the end of the round.
Some of these ribbons are :
- Objective Ribbon – Play the objective
- Wingman Ribbon – Support teammates with revives and various assists
- Logistics Ribbon – Heal and resupply others and repair vehicles
- Intel Ribbon – Spot and disrupt enemies, such as via EMP’s or destroying drones
- Combat Ribbon – Score kills and destroy vehicles

Tip 2: How to unlock new weapons
When you receive XP, you will level up, and with level comes different types of rewards. These rewards include weapons, gadgets, cosmetics, and more. When you start the game, you will encounter various new weapons, specialists, vehicles, and gadgets.
Trying out different weapons helps you analyze different types of playstyle, and this way, you will learn what play style suits you the most. You can still work towards your profile level up to max to 99 and unlock different weapons.
Tip 3: Mastering Weapons
When you unlock a new weapon, you can now master that weapon to its max-content to unlock different perks of the weapon. Mastering weapon requires different tasks to be completed.
For example, score enough kills with the M5A3 assault rifle to unlock a new scope. Or, for a vehicle, gain new equipment as you use it to accomplish goals (like capturing points). With more kills, you can quickly gain cosmetics.
Tip 4: Customize Player Card
A player card is an excellent way to show off your profile. This card consists of player icon, title, badges, card art, and level. You can add up to three badges to your player card. You can customize your Player Card via the Play screen.
These customization items are unlocked when you play more. When the game launches, you will learn more of this stuff, learn new ways to unlock these items, and show off your profile to other users.
Tip 5: Cross Platform Progress
When you play games, you unlock achievements. Battlefield 2042 features cross-platform progress in which you can easily switch from PC to PlayStation to Xbox and have the same achievement if the EA ID is the same.
For example, your new unlocked skin for your M5A3 assault rifle on PlayStation®, alongside your in-game progress such as Player Level and Mastery, carries with you if you now choose to jump into the action on Xbox Series X|S.
