This guide will show you where to find the Glowy brightcap mushroom. A very rare resource, it can be very challenging to collect them as they are only found during storms. These are mostly used to fulfil faction contracts who use them as food/medicine. This guide will show you exactly where to look to find them.
Glowy Brightcap Mushroom Location:
As you can see on this map, the majority of the Brightcap mushrooms can be found on the left side. Heavily concentrated around the Rock Pools and Jungles. There are also areas in between where they can be found such as the Swamps and Crashed Ship.
However, to find Glowy Brightcap Mushrooms the player needs to be in the middle of a storm since they only spawn during this time. Since storms are damaging there are tips to survive them and still harvest these rare mushrooms.
- The jungle is your safest bet.
You can use the Crashed Ship as cover to protect yourself from the storm. This makes it somewhat less risky to pick up the mushrooms. Be patient and wait for the regular mushrooms to be damaging.
- The Swamp is also a good option
You can use the Power Plant in the area to take cover while farming these. However there is quite a heavy element of risk involved so be careful while dealing with the storm.
