The latest addition to the class franchise, King of Fighters XV is just about to release on February 17, 2022. The King of Fighters franchise is a fighting game franchise developed by SNK with the first installment in the series being released way back in 1994 on SNK’s Neo Geo MVS arcade hardware.
The game franchise has been overshadowed by various other juggernauts in the fighting scene like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, etc. in recent years. But even with the declining popularity of the franchise, there are a lot of fans who can’t wait for the new game’s release. So here we are telling whether the game will be cracked or not.
SNK’s Track Record
The old school developer has released many games in the King Of Fighter franchise and most of their releases have been easily pirated by many players who want to try out the franchise. SNK’s last release in the franchise King of Fighters XIV had a working crack on its release and the same can be said for the game previous to that.
With no new methods of anti-piracy disclosed by the developers, it is highly likely that some sort of crack would be available for the players on launch. However, what type of crack will be available is left to be seen.
Crack will it be Online or Offline?
Being a fighting game, one of the main selling points of the game is the multiplayer online aspect where people face each other to find out who is the better player. The crack of the game will most probably be offline and if there is an online version of the crack, players will only be able to play against other players using the same crack.
This is sad news for all of the pirates out there as the game is not a massive release and the player counts will not be very high as other big fighters and even fewer people will have a cracked online version.
So it is safe to say that the fans of the series will not be waiting for an online crack version. That being said there will be many players who would be able to experience the combat of the game with the offline crack version that will most likely be available at launch.
