Best Graphics Settings Elden Ring FPS Boost (High & Low End)

Elden Ring.

Elden ring thankfully does not have a too daunting a minimum spec requirement as one would presume, the game requires an Intel i5-8400 CPU, which is an excellent processor but is five years old now, but that isn’t to say that it is easy to run on max settings, it can give your PC a series challenge on higher settings, Here’s a list of the best setting for both the low spec and the high spec gamers out there.

Before you start:

I think it should be mentioned that it is vital to make sure that you have all your drivers up to date on your graphics card and to make sure you have everything else up to date like your OS and your game client, as this can also sometimes affect the gameplay.

Best settings for Elden Ring Middle and High end:

Pc setting

The above settings should not be taken as gospel, they will undoubtedly vary on what resolution your monitor is or the graphics card you are using. It is always best to run a game at its native resolution.

The above are geared more towards powerful systems such as an RTX 3070 or higher. If you have a system with more average specs, such as a GTX 1070, check out the list below.

  • Texture Quality – High
  • Antialiasing Quality – Medium
  • SSAO – Low
  • Depth of Field – Medium
  • Motion Blur – Off
  • Shadow Quality – Medium
  • Lighting Quality – Medium
  • Effects Quality – Medium
  • Volumetric Quality – Low
  • Reflection Quality – Low
  • Water Surface Quality – Low
  • Shadow Quality – Medium
  • Global Illumination Quality – High
  • Grass Quality – Medium

So, that’s your settings for both high and medium-spec PCs.

Best settings for Elden Ring Low-end PCs:

My low spec brother will be pleased to know that Elden Ring isn’t that much of a spec monster, and you should be able to run it on some relatively new CPU and GPU combo.

  • Texture Quality – Low
  • Antialiasing Quality – Medium
  • SSAO – Low
  • Depth of Field – Off
  • Motion Blur – Off
  • Shadow Quality – Low
  • Lighting Quality – Low
  • Effects Quality – Medium
  • Volumetric Quality – Low
  • Reflection Quality – Low
  • Water Surface Quality – Low
  • Shadow Quality – Low
  • Global Illumination Quality – Medium
  • Grass Quality – Low

As I mentioned above, these might not be optimal for you but are a good starting point for you to fiddle around. Remember that the game’s minimum requirements are 12 GB of RAM, so that might be a bottleneck for you, and make sure you work accordingly. If you have some other issues with the game, I highly recommend checking our article below.
