The Need for speed Unbound version is developed by Criterion games and published by electronic arts for PlayStation 5, windows, and Xbox both series X and S. The game is set in the city of Lakeshore which is a fictional city by all means and is based very similarly on the city and scapes of Chicago.
Need for Speed is well known for its car garage selection list which includes almost all exotic cars ranging from Offroad to pure blood racing cars and also some fast starter city rides.
But to make it challenging and the fact that it is a story-based progression game, you have to start low and then keep on rising from there as you progress more in the game.
You will unlock more cars which would be better than the ones you had and this even counts for the size of the garage which will steadily increase too.

Just as we said before, the Need for speed games are all about racing and storylines and this unbound version is no different. The first time in this game wherein you have to choose your starter car is during the game’s prologue and all of them as expected are pretty ragged-up cars or you could say straight out of a junkyard.
You will be presented with three options which will include a muscle car, a tuner car, and an exotic car. Each of these three cars has different pros and cons and none is actually better than the other. If one lacks in speed, it will shine in its handling stat and vice-versa.

Now judging by these stats, you can clearly see there is no clear winner as all of them have somewhat balanced stats hence it depends on you which one aligns best with your taste and interest.
But if you still want the best of the three, then here is our opinion!
BEST STARTER CAR VERDICT: NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND
Go with the Lamborghini Countach as your pick as this car is the most balanced of all three and well in lots of situations where its stats are really needed. This car is good acceleration which is helpful to get ahead and stay ahead in starting races as the other two cars have a similar top speed as well. Also, this one is more expensive than the other two so that’s something to consider as well!
