Destiny 2 The Witch Queen: Change Campaign Difficulty Easily

Here’s all you need to know on how to change the campaign if you find one campaign harder or want to check it out.

Some players seem to have issues with the difficulty of The Witch Queen in Destiny 2 and are confused as to how to change them after they are chosen. This article will go over the process of doing just that.

How to select difficulty:

Once you start The Witch Queen campaign, you will see a cutscene. After this, you will be given a choice between the Classic campaign or the legendary campaign, which is the harder campaign. Now you can choose from either one of those.

After you choose, you will go into the first mission, which you will complete on your selected difficulty. Now, if you find the campaign too easy or too challenging, the process to change the difficulty is listed below.

How to change the difficulty after selection:

Now, after you finish the first mission and would like to change your difficulty, all you need to do is follow the steps below:

  • Go back and launch the throne world again
  • Go to destinations
  • Click on Savathuns Throne World
  • Select the difficulty you want

But after you complete the first mission, you will spawn on mars, and you run over to the banner flag there. You can then do the next campaign mission from the banner flag over there. When you open it, you will again get the option to change your difficulty from Legendary to Classic or vice-versa.

Difference between Classic and Legendary

In classic, it will make the gameplay easier, and as you can see, it will turn off all the modifiers. You can also see the listed modifiers on the right-hand side when selecting legendary.

So at any point in your next mission, you can go ahead and change your difficulty. Also, if you want to change the difficulty of your replayable missions, all you need to do is open up your map when you are on Mars, and you can change the difficulty there.

That’s about all you need to know also. Check out this video below to get a more visual representation of what I mentioned above.
