Choosing a Class.
Selecting a class from the several options presented to the player can be daunting at first. The best advice when it comes to class selection is to choose whatever class you like. A class that is equipped with a shield will give you an advantage when starting out. Do not worry too much about selecting perks, as choosing a particular class won’t restrict you from experimenting with different combat strategies and play styles.
There are a total of 10 different and unique classes in Elden Ring. Each class presents the player with a unique option to play the game. The 10 classes of Elden Ring are listed below.
At the beginning of the game, you will have to go through a tutorial. This tutorial will take place in a cave and help you learn the basic movements and controls. Practice and familiarize yourself with the controls of Elden Ring.
As you finish the tutorial part, you will step out into the open world. This vast realm will have bonfires called “Sites of Lost Grace.” These bonfires, similar to the Dark Souls game, function as checkpoints. You can also level up, fast travel, and do a variety of things at these sites. The “Sites of Lost Grace” also function as respawn points. You will spawn back at your last “Site of Lost Grace” if you are killed in combat.
How to level up and get your mount.
In Elden Ring, the player has a horse that they can use to traverse the vast open world. After completing the tutorial and entering the open world, head to the “Church of Elleh.” This location has an NPC merchant and workbenches to repair and upgrade your items. This church also has a “Site of Lost Grace.”
After completing all the activities at the “Church Of Elleh,” head out into the forest. Keep the wall to the left side of your character in the forest and walk forward. You will soon encounter another “Site of Lost Grace,” which will give you the ability to level up and present your horse. Around this area, you will also find a slab of stone that will give you “Map Fragments.” “Map Fragments will help you locate places on your map.
Elden Ring has a special mechanic that you can use to summon companions in battles. Press the spirit to summon symbol when it appears on your HUD to summon help in boss battles.
Ashes of War.
Ashes of War in Elden Ring is a system where you can level up your weapons. This system also dictates the elemental type of your weapon. These elemental perks can be interchanged between certain weapons.
