Dying Light 2 has a vast number of equipment and weapons you can arm your character with. The open world of Villedore can be scavenged to find such items. But, some weapons are rare and their labels are gold in color.
These are the artifact weapons. These rare weapons can be found hidden all over the map of Dying Light 2. Read this article to learn the locations of all the artifact weapons in Dying Light 2.

Artifact weapons in Dying Light 2 can be found all over the map in Dying Light 2. These weapons specifically spawn inside trailers called GRE trailers. Some of the trailers are locked and some are wide open. The locked trailers usually have a way inside them, most likely a hatch on the roof or a window.
You can collect the same artifact weapon from one trailer several times. These artifacts take some to spawn after you have collected them. It is advisable to recollect an artifact after you have leveled up as your character level matches the level of the artifact weapon.
Location of artifact weapon in Houndfield region.
The artifact weapon in the Houndfield region spawns inside a GRE trailer. The locked trailer is located inside GRE fenced area. The fenced area is located near the “Birch Windmill”.
Location of artifact weapon in Trinity region.
This artifact also spawns inside a GRE trailer. South of the “Alder Windmill” is an area with a bunch of GRE trailers close to each other. The trailer containing the artifact is located to the left.
The last GRE trailer containing an artifact weapon in the Trinity region can be found beside a Military Convoy activity. The Military Convoy event takes place east of the “Larch Windmill”.
Location of artifact weapon in Quarry End region.
Similar to previous artifact weapons, this also spawns inside a GRE trailer. This trailer can be found near an archway leading to a tunnel. This tunnel is located south of the Quarry End.
The second artifact weapon in this region can be found east of the Forsaken Store Dark Zone. Head close to the GRE anomaly in this area to find the trailer.

The GRE trailer containing the artifact weapon can be found south of the Observatory. To be more specific find the GRE anomaly near the Observatory region and head south of it to find the trailer.

The first artifact can be found in front of the entrance of the VNC tower. It spawns inside a GRE trailer.
After collecting the aforementioned artifact enter the VNC tower and use its lift. Take the lift to the rooftop to find the GRE trailer containing the second artifact weapon.
The last artifact in this area can be found near the Smokehouse settlement. The artifact is inside a GRE trailer.
Location of artifact in Downtown region.
The artifact weapon can be found opposite a bowling alley situated northeast of the “Teak Windmill”. The artifact can be found inside a GRE trailer.
Location of artifact in New Dawn Park region.
A Military Convoy event place near this region. The artifact is located near the event. The trailer can be found to the northwest of “The Fish Eye”.
After collecting the aforementioned artifact head east of “The Fish Eye”. Locate the GRE trailer, north of the “Artist Workshop Settlement” to find the artifact weapon.
The last artifact in this region can be found in the streets below “The Fish Eye”. To be more specific the trailer is southeast of Metro: Newalls Crossing.

The trailer containing the artifact weapon can be found near a Military Zone gate. The gate is located southeast of Saint Paul’s Cathedral.
