Killing Floor 2 is an FPS video game developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. It is a sequel to 2009’s Killing Floor game.
A lot of gamers are having trouble getting KF2 multiplayer to connect and run. The game was offered for free on the Epic Games Store last week. And like always, there are often server problems whenever a large number of new players join the game as a result of it being made free to claim and play. Let’s look at and try to solve the game’s multiplayer connectivity issues.
The first and foremost, check your own network connection and make sure that your firewall (if any) is not blocking access to the game’s servers.
Even though it’s not really a repair, the developers have acknowledged the problems. The buttons for Join and Find Game are not working properly for some players. The issues are being reviewed by the developers for the same. An update with a fix should be available whenever they identify the issue’s source and resolve it.
Update your game to the latest patch whenever one is available, and you should have no trouble firing up the game again.

While the above-mentioned update is for the game’s Epic Games Store version, here are some additional generic solutions you may consider.
Check the game’s official Twitter page for the latest server status information. The server status and any other game-related information can be found here. If you see that the game is under maintenance, you should wait until it is ready to play again.
You can look up Killing Floor 2 in the Tripwire Interactive forums. Additionally, you can see here complaints made by other players as well.
