SOT: How to get the Who needs a Bigger Boat? Commendation!

There is a commendation in Sea of Thieves called Who Needs a Bigger Boat?, which can be unlocked when you attack a Megalodon or Kraken 25 times using a Cannon Rowboat. This means that you need to fire a Megalodon or Kraken 25 times in a row.

How to unlock “Who Needs a Bigger Boat?” commendation in Sea of Thieves

To unlock the following commendation, you have to follow some basic steps given in the article. Then, all you have to do is follow those steps, and you are good to go. This commendation is quite easy to unlock, so don’t worry if you cannot unlock it. Then, we will walk you through the process.

Search for a Cannon Rowboat in SOT

It would help if you found a canon rowboat before even thinking about attacking a Megalodon or Kraken. Unfortunately, these boats are randomly spawned across the island, so it’s quite hard to find sometimes. It all depends on your luck. All you can do is search all the islands or loot other players’ ships in the game.

Finding a Megalodon in Sea of Thieves

Now that you have located the Canon Rowboat, it’s time to find the megalodon or a Kraken to attack. The worst part is that Kraken is quite hard to find in the game as they have random spawns and very low probability, but you can easily find megalodon in the game.

There are at least 5 different types of Megalodon in the game, and you can easily attack them using the cannons. You will notice when the megalodon appears as you can hear the game music change to something chilly.

2. Shoot the Meg when its comes in range.
3. One friend should control the ship so that it would easy for you to attack him from all sides.
4. If you have a decent boat and a friend with you can easily complete the 25 hits barrier you need to unlock the commendation.
