How to Set Up Mods Easily in BONELAB VR (PCVR & Quest)

BONELAB is a VR-Only Experimental Physics Action game developed and published by Stress Level Zero. It has been released on Steam on 29th September 2022. To play the game, the VR Systems required are the Oculus Rift/Quest 2 or Valve Index.

In this game, players will get to explore a mysterious lab filled with weapons, enemies, challenges, and secrets. The protagonist has been sentenced to death and is inside an underground research facility. Players traverse through various obstacles and levels to find the truth.

Inside the facility, players will find arenas, obstacle courses, tactical trials, and experimental modes. Collecting items, avatars, and clues from these locations enable you to progress through the protagonist’s story.

Mods allow users to alter the game to their liking. Adding custom skins, items, objects, and environments. Players can change the game’s physics, and statistics, and play the game the way they want to. In this article, we will discuss how to set up mods for BONELAB. Adding and Installing Mods (Non-Quest 2)

  • Download the mod of your choice from the website you use
  • Extract the mods to this folder “AppData/Locallow/Stress Level Zero/Bonelab/Mods
  • Start the game and go to Mod Node inside the Central Hub
  • Go to the Terminal to find and install the mod in-game

Adding and Installing Mods (Quest 2)

  • Connect Quest 2 to the computer
  • Find this inside Quest 2: “Android/data/com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB/files/Mods
  • Extract the desired Mod in this folder, and start the game
  • Go to Mod Node inside the Central Hub
  • Go to the Terminal to find and install the mod in-game
