Minecraft Skin Compiler – How to Use & Add Custom Skins?

Today we will show you how you can use a skin compiler to get cool skins for yourself in Minecraft.

In this guide, we will show you how to use the CDsmythe skin compiler as we believe it to be the most convenient to use and reliable. CDsmythe is very straightforward to use so we are sure even the players new to custom skins won’t face any issues using it.

Keep in mind there are many other viable options with a very similar process so be feel to use any other skin compiler too if you find it better or this one doesn’t work for you. Keep in mind only the pocket edition and Education Edition of Minecraft are able to open the file created by skin compilers.

Step By Step Guide

Here are all the steps you need to follow –

Download the Desired Skins

The first thing you want to do is get the skins you want to include in the pack that you will download, you can get these skin files online on various websites and you won’t have trouble finding a skin for you. Make sure the skins in the pack are either slim or normal, don’t mix the two as there are different options on the CDsmythe site for normal and slim skins.

Go to CDsmythe website and upload your pack

As mentioned above you will find two options to upload your skins, the slim skins and the normal ones depending on what you want to choose the option and upload your skin pack. Make sure the files you downloaded are in png form before uploading. You can rename your skin pack or skin here.

You can either upload a skin or multiple skins and download them as a pack on the CDsmythe website. You will be asked to fill some fields that you will have to fill in order to download the files. Here is the link to CDsmythe.

Download your pack or skin

Your png files will be converted into.MCPACK files through CDsmythe and you will need the.MCPACK file in order to use the skins in-game.

Once you have downloaded the.MCPACK file simply double click on the file and Minecraft would open up and the skin will be imported to your game.
