Modern Warfare 2 DMZ mode has a lot of missions and nice random drops. The map of Al Mazrah is huge and quite difficult to conquer too, so you’ll need a lot of equipment like three-plate armour, guns and weapon attachments.
Among the loot that you’ll find scattered all over the map, one of the best drops you’ll find is our keys. Keys will grant you access to many locked rooms and loot stashes. But without knowing where to use them they’re pretty much useless. But make sure you don’t die, otherwise, you’ll lose these keys along with your other items.

MW2 Key locations
Crane control room key location
Go to the northern side of Al Safwa quarry. Get into the crane and you’ll see a grey door. Use the key to get the hidden loot.
Al-Safwa Stone Block Office Key
On the south-east of Al-safwa Quarry, you’ll find a locked room in a rectangular building.
This is where you can use the specified key.
Quarry Worker’s Lost Toolbox Key
On reaching the location marked in the image below, you’ll find a pool between the warehouses. Dive into the pool to find the lost toolbox and use the key to get the loot.
Kushaak Construction Warehouse Key Modern Warfare 2
On reaching the location specified in the map below, you will see a building with the Kushaak Construction sign on it. You will find the locked door down in the quarry, which is located a little southwest of the building.

MW2 DMZ key locations
Rohan Oil North Guard Shack Key location
Head over to the location of Rohan Oil specified in the map below. After reaching the spot, go to the top middle of grid D3 > 2nd building from the right on the northern edge of Rohan Oil.
Rohan Oil South Guard Shack Key
Head over to the location of Rohan Oil specified in the map below. There’ll be a single building where you can use the key.
2. Rohan oil south guard shack key
Taraq River Supply Shack Key
Reach the location specified on the map, you’ll find a small shack by the river.
Yum Yum Burger Back Room Key
Once you get to the specified location, head into the restaurant’s Back Room Storage behind the cashier’s counter.
Hafid Ship Bridge Cache Key
Refer to the location given in the map below. Head to the top of the ship bridge tower.
Hafid Ship First Mate Cache Key Modern Warfare 2
Refer to the location given in the map below. The location can be found at the Ship Bridge Tower, one floor below the ship’s bridge.
Longshoreman’s Duffel Bag Key MW2 DMZ
Get to the location specified in the map below. On the concrete platform out at sea, you’ll find the locked bag.
IHTAQ Warehouse Supply Room Key
To use this key, find the biggest warehouse with a grey roof on the map in Hafid Port.
Central Sa’id Top Floor Apartment Key
To use this key, you need to head to the central region of Sa’Id city and go to the top floor of the apartment there.

These are the locations where you can use these keys and grab the loot. Loot from these locked stashes and the locked rooms will be of huge importance as the challenges get tougher. You’ll be getting keys while you progress, so make sure you go and use them.
