NFS or also called the Need for speed has just released its NFS Unbound title on 2nd December 2022 and is the hot topic of the day considering that NFS was, is and will continue to be the cult of all racing games to date.
The Unbound version is developed by Criterion games and published by electronic arts for PlayStation 5, windows, and Xbox both series X and S. It is also the proud 25th instalment in the cult NFS series and the first for Criterion since the Rivals and Ghost in back in 2013.
The game is set in the city of Lakeshore which is a fictional city by all means and is based very similarly on the city and scapes of Chicago. While maintaining its open free to explore world nature and the so-called ‘free roam’, the overall gameplay is similar to the previous entries and mainly tied to street racing, drag racing, circuit racing, speed trials, etc.
But, as fans know that no NFS game is complete without the needed star of the show. Yes, you guessed it right, it’s the BMW M3 GT3, the cult of the racing car world and the best car one could get in-game back when we used to beat the person on Blacklist One!

The BMW M3 GTR is one of the most iconic cars in NFS and has been known for its seamless handling paired with good speed but a short nitro and really good acceleration. To make the car yours, you as a player will have to complete a mission, deliver the mission and pass it successfully, if not then just unlock it by purchasing the play subscription which EA has to offer.
As to be expected, the car is highly customizable in its paint options ranging from classic to gloss to mat finished, and even customize the wrap or go for special effects like the neon glow.
Players who want to get the car in single-player mode have to complete a delivery mission which is obviously linked to the car itself as we have seen in NFS 2016. This Mission will give you the privilege to drive the car first-hand but can only be yours if you manage to complete the mission.
Even though we said that you have to be an EA member, that doesn’t mean you can’t get the car without paying real money as after you complete the above mission then the car becomes like any other custom car which you can buy in the game. The mission completion also grants you access to driving this car in multiplayer mode.
However, if you’re the non-waiting type and can afford to spend some bucks, then the EA pass option is always open for you and you need not even complete the mission to get it, purchase it and it’s instantly yours, ready to race and customise on the go.
