How to Play Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga CO-OP Online

When it comes to Star Wars, we all have had long conversations with our friends and family, just talking about the franchise and how interesting all the movies and the games were. So when we think about Lego Star War games, the first thing that comes to mind is “I want to play this game with my friends or family”. So here is all we know about Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga co-op, both local and online.

Local Co-op

The Local co-op in The Skywalker Saga is as amazing and furnished as it can be. It uses a turn-in/turn-out on-demand system, where players can join and leave the co-op whenever they want.

Went to a friend’s house and saw them playing Skywalker Saga? All you need to do to join in is connect a second controller and press any button once you’re connected. This will trigger an instant split screen on the monitor where both people can have their own perspective and play the game together. To turn off multiplayer and go back to single player, simply turn off the second controller and as soon as it’s disconnected, the screen will return to multiplayer.

The Skywalker Saga co-op is somewhat dynamic with their local sessions. Players can join anytime, even if it is in the middle of a story or while exploring any of the hubs. The mechanic works a little different while piloting a ship. During this, there is only one screen while one player pilots the ship and the other one takes control of the guns.

Online Multiplayer Co-op with Friends

With such a dynamic local co-op, fans must be wondering about the online Skywalker Saga co-op. Unfortunately, this game doesn’t feature an Online co-op. TT Games has responded to this officially on their twitter as well as on reddit.

Hardcore Lego Star Wars fans already saw this coming because none of the recent games have featured an online co-op mode. But what about the people who want to play with their friends but can’t have them at the same place? There is an alternate method.

Even though the game officially doesn’t feature online co-op, players can use a third-party application known as Parsec to do so. Here is how to do it:

  1. Download Parsec from the link provided above and install the application.
  2. Once installed, launch the application and login/sign up.
  3. After that, you will find an ‘Arcade’ section on the left panel. Go there and start hosting Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
  4. You’ll be given a link that you can send to your friends and play together with them. Make sure to make the lobby private if you don’t want random people to join in.
