Raft is a recently released survival game, by Redbeet Interactive and Axolot Games, where the player is cast adrift in a merciless ocean. When players are up against starvation, dehydration, and a hungry shark, every edge is crucial for survival.
This guide is here to help you find metal ore (in-game, of course).
Metal Ore and Where to Find it
Metal ore is one of the most crucial resources in Raft. It looks metallic and has a faint hue. Typically, metal ores are found close to islands. They are typically found in groups of two and three deep beneath the island’s shorelines, and on the walls of islands. You must go deep underwater to find them.
It is advised to make some flippers and oxygen tanks if you plan to explore below the surface of the ocean. Otherwise, you are likely to die.

You may grab the found metal ores with your hook. Go to a suitable melee distance and charge it up just like you would above ground. The metal ore will be hooked off the wall and placed in your inventory.
Metal ores are used to produce metal ingots, which are further needed for a variety of construction-related tasks. They go into the creation of tools, machines, and other navigating equipment.

Find a suitable place and dive deep into the ocean. To harvest the metal ores found in the deep ocean, you must also have enough air and diving equipment in addition to the hooks. After collecting enough metal ores, you need to smelt them into metal ingots and start with producing shovels, metal spears, and other necessary tools.
Now that you are aware of the metal ores and ingots, it’s time to hop into the game and craft some tools for your survival. Drop a comment and let us know if you found this article useful.
