Dying Light 2 has been released and is better in every way than its predecessor Dying Light. The parkour has been improved and the graphical fidelity has set a new bar for upcoming games in the industry.
But, not everything is an improvement in Dying Light 2. The weapon system has been changed especially the weapon repairing system. To learn how to repair and get the most use out of weapons in Dying Light 2, follow the tips given below.
Weapon Repairing by Modification in Dying Light 2
The weapons in Dying Light 2 get damaged after using them for a specific amount of time and their durability rating decreases. How fast the weapon gets damaged depends on the rank of the weapon and the amount of time the weapon has been used.
To repair weapons in Dying Light 2 you have to apply mods to the weapon you wish to repair in the modification section of the inventory. This will add around 50+ durability to the weapon.
An important point to keep in mind is that the weapon you want to repair must be used to kill zombies a bit before you repair it. Otherwise, the weapon rating will decrease.
Weapon Use & Repair tips in Dying Light 2
In Dying Light 2, you may find different types of weapons that are already modified. You may find such weapons by buying them from vendors or by scavenging the open world. Modified weapons cannot be repaired.
This may sound like a problem but as your character ranks up you will find weapons with higher rank and there will be no need to repair lower-ranked weapons.
Finding weapon mods in Dying Light 2
In Dying Light 2 there is a certain type of NPC vendor called Craftmasters. Craftmasters have a vast selection of weapon mods that can be bought and can be used to repair your weapons in the game. Make sure that your weapons are in good condition before venturing out to kill zombies.
