Lost Ark: Soulfist Class Beginners Guide (Builds, Skills & More)

Have you ever wanted to play as a Martial Artist in Lost Ark, where you’re character is straight out of dragon ball z? Well, soul fist just might be the class for you.

The Soulfist charter is heavily inspired by Dragon ball z. This becomes obvious when you see that you’re 2 ultimates are essentially a Kamehameha and a literal spirit bomb as your other ability.

This highly mobile class specialized in both melee and ranged attacks. So if you’re looking for a character that will deal some damage in PvP arenas, Soulfist is one of the most powerful classes in the game.

However, I would like to point out that she is not easy to master if you genuinely wish to get the most out of The Soulfist, you must give it total commitment.

The Soulfist has severe burst damage and sick combos, but it lacks survivability. You will have to make the most of the dash to avoid enemy attacks; a minor drawback with the characters dash is that it has a 9second cooldown on the higher side, but it does have super armor: all immunity.

Identity Gauge:

The Soulfist’s identity gauge is called Energy. You use them up by hitting abilities and then going through the stages, buffing attack damage and speed. These stages are known as ‘Hype Modes’ and are known as Hype Mode 1,2, and 3.

The way the character is made, it’s essential to see that your Energy doesn’t really drop because it tends to have a penalty when you do touch zero, so that is something you will have to integrate into your playstyle. Its ultimate ability fully buffed is the most powerful in the entire game, and that’s nothing to scoff at.

Engravings:

Like any other character, your engravings will affect your gameplay immensely. Here’s something to give you a bit of an idea

Energy Overflow Robust spirit
Level 1:Energy never drops below 1, but any extra Energy that is gotten is not applied during Hype. If your Energy is below 30 percent, you deal an additional 5 percent damage.
Level 2: If your Energy is below 30 percent, you deal an extra 10 percent damage to enemies.
Level 3: If your Energy is below 30 percent, you deal an additional 15 percent damage to enemies
Level 1: You will enter level 3 immediately in Hype mode. You recover Energy 200 percent faster and have a damage increase of 15 percent while in Hype Mode.
Level 2: 25 percent damage increase in Hype Mode.
Level 3: 35 percent damage increase in Hype Mode.

As you can presume, these impact you’re playing style quite heavily

Soulfist leveling skills and guide

To clear content, you need to be able to deal with some damage and maximize your skills. Here are some skills we recommend keeping an eye out for

Flash Step is your best bet for mobility.

Heavenly Squash is a potent ability.

Some others include Magnetic Palm, Deadly Finger, and lighting palm.

Soulfist awakening skills

World Domination: This is a handy skill because it deals hefty damage, but it is pretty challenging to aim. Quite a bit of Soulfists advantage depends on landing this, so it’s best you practice.

Annihilating Ray: Annihilating Ray is much more reliable in hitting your enemies, but the death ray doesn’t really do that much damage and, quite frankly, isn’t that fun to use.

If you’re wondering, the Annilating ray is heavily inspired by the Kamehameha, and world domination is essentially a spirit bomb.

I also recommend watching Drybears gamer’s video to understand better.

Now that we’ve gone into the details of this class, let’s get a list of pros and cons for the Soulfist, which will help you decide if you should choose it.

  • Severe damage, Lots of incredible abilities that feel strong even though they might not be doing that much damage
  • Soulfist is a genuinely fun character and can reliably win PvP in the game.
  • It can easily carry a team in PvP
  • As I mentioned before, it is pretty hard to master, and you might have a hard time hitting your opponents.
  • The lack of survivability might be an issue for you if you are prone to making mistakes like me.
