If you are having trouble starting the Radhan Festival or you are having trouble that your portal is closed to defeat the Radahn, then we have an easy fix that can help trigger that part of the storyline so that you can easily start the Radahn Festival and defeat Starcourge Radahn.
How to activate the portal to Radahn?
So without wasting your time, let’s get started. Follow the steps and video given below to activate the portal to Radahn.
First, you need to go and meet Blaidd and then start the quest to defeat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil Boss. After that, you will meet the Blaidd (wolfman) outside the portal. If you want to see this in action, I suggest you watch the video given below.
Now that you have successfully completed this questline. You need to visit The Grand Lift Of Dectus with two pieces of Dectus which will simply trigger the Radhn festival. Watch the video given below.
In the last and final step of the tutorial, You have to save alexander as we know that he is also present at the festival. Now go to the grace outside radahn and wait until morning.
I am still not sure if you have to defeat the Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, before fighting with Radahn. Because I did defeat her earlier on, still, you can read the article mentioned above.

yes for some people it did, I am not sure why but I had to do it the way mentioned, If you know the second way let me know.
i didnt do anything here mentioned in my first playthrouht after i was up through the secret passage and was told i need more great runes at the City i went searching and did radhan when i found him.. didnt do Rennala either

For some reason, the crier that starts the Radahn cutscene is just not appearing, he is supposed to be on the platform but is just not there. Do I have to activate a questline or something?
if you have reached inside the cancel where everyone is standing and talking about the festival then idk think you need to activate a questline. This might be a bug? I am not sure but I will definitely get back to you on this.
Update: if the npc is not appearing try clearing all your sins by going to the church of vows, You can follow up a guide from youtube as you need some items to reset all NPCs if you have killed someone accidentally. Try this and let me know.
