Two Point Campus All Errors and Crash Fix

Two Point Campus is a business simulation game released by Sega and developed by Two Point Studios. It is the follow-up to Two Point Hospital (2018) and gives the player responsibility for creating and running a college campus. The game is available on PC, PS4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

The player is tasked with creating and running a college campus. As well as organising various cultural events and extracurricular activities, the player is required to construct a variety of educational spaces, including classrooms, lecture halls, and libraries. Additionally, the player must hire employees including professors, teaching assistants, and janitors. The player also needs to maintain the campus’s smooth running.

As the game is pretty new, it’s normal for some players to experience issues like crashes and drop in performance. Keep reading as we’ve tried to cover the most common fixes.

Update Windows and Graphics Drivers

It’s always a good practice to ensure that your computer is running the latest Windows build version. Head over to your PC’s settings and install any pending updates to Windows.

Updating your graphics drivers may also help eliminate any errors that are keeping the game from running as it should. Moreover, recently released games are added and optimised with the newer versions of graphics drivers. Nvidia’s GeForce Experience and AMD’s Radeon Software will help you in keeping your GPU drivers updated.

Verify Game Files

You may try doing this to make sure that none of your game files is corrupted or missing.

  • Head to your Steam library, and right-click on the game.
  • Click Properties and hit Verify integrity of game files in the Local Files tab.

This will start scanning the game files and download and replace any bad files. Try launching the game after the scan is complete, and the issue must be resolved.

Switch to the Dedicated GPU

You need to ensure that the game is running on the dedicated (Nvidia / AMD) GPU on your PC. This can be done either from the graphics options in Windows settings or from your GPU’s control panel.

Close Unnecessary Background Tasks

You don’t need your web browser’s update service running in the background while you are gaming. Open Task Manager and kill the processes that you feel are eating up unnecessary resources. This not only frees up RAM but also helps your CPU run more efficiently.

Reinstall the Game

If none of the above-mentioned methods seems to help, you may try reinstalling the game. This resets all of the game’s data and removes the downloaded and locally stored cache. After uninstalling, download the game again and try launching. This should resolve the issues.

This covers our article on fixing the crashing issues with Two Point Campus. As the game is recently released, it will probably be more optimised with newer updates. Make sure that you keep your game updated with the latest patches, as it might help in better performance.
