Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel: How To Link Account With Konami ID

Konami has released its latest Master Duel, without any prior announcement or hints at a new title, leaving fans wondering whether they can cross-play it on other platforms or not. Well, we’re here to tell you that yes, Master Duel does actually support cross-play.

You can actually cross-save your progress too when playing on other platforms. But to successfully do this, you will have to link your Master Duel account with your Konami account. If you’re wondering how to do this, here’s a step-by-step guide for you.

How to Connect Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Account With Konami ID?

For this, you actually need to start up your game. Once in the title screen of the game, go to the options on the bottom right. You can then select “Data Transfer” from the menu that pops up.

You are then given the option to transfer game data from another device by linking your Konami. You can enter your email/id and password, or just create a new one by using the link or scanning the QR code.

After successfully logging in via the Konami website, you will have linked your Master Duel ID to your general Konami ID, which will now sync all previous game data to the server, effectively enabling cross-play so that you can play on other devices with the progress getting carried over.

If you have a previous save of the game on a different device and are trying to play the game on a new one, you just have to simply follow the said guide to link your Konami account to the game. The game will then download a small amount of data from their server and after some terms and conditions agreement, you are taken directly into the game and not the tutorial.

So now that you know how to easily link your Konami ID to your Master Duel account, there will be no more hassle trying to figure out how to bring your progression to a new device anymore. You can now just download the game and jump right into where you left off.
