Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO Action RPG game that was released around the world in February 2022. The game is developed by Tripod Studio and Smilegate RPG and published by Smilegate, Amazon Games, and My Games. It was a huge success since its launch and has been an amazing place for players to play and spend time in. One of the main attractions of the game is the art style and the fantastic design mechanics.
Bifrost, as you might know from Norse Mythology, is used as a means to travel from Asgard to Midgard. It is a sort of instant teleportation and that is exactly what it does in Lost Ark. Bifrost is a mechanic, or according to in-game terms, a gateway that lets you teleport to a certain place from anywhere in the World. This article will discuss how to use Bifrost in Lost Ark.
Before we get into the how we want to highlight some things. Bifrost is like teleport waypoints. You can set them wherever you want but you have to be in that location in the first place to set them. Apart from this, before we understand how to use Bifrost, it is important to know how many of them you can have.
By default, Lost Ark provides every player with only 1 Bifrost gateway. If you own Crystalline Aura which is like a battle pass for Lost Ark, you can have up to 2 more Bifrost gateways. Moreover, 2 more Bifrost gateways can be unlocked by using keys that you can find on your exploration.
How to use Bifrost in Lost Ark
Now that you know what Bifrost is and how amazing it can be, let’s understand how to use it. Using Bifrost is really simple, follow these steps to do so:
- Head over to the Adventure tab from the bottom right of your screen or you can click on Alt+W which is a shortcut to do the same. In this tab, you will easily be able to find Bifrost.
- As you can see in the screenshot above, if you want to save your current location so that you can teleport to it later, you can click on the “Save Location” button. This way, no matter where you are in the huge World of Lost Art, you can instantly teleport back once you know how to use Bifrost.
- If you do have a location saved that you want to teleport to, you can just click on “Move”.
- Although, knowing how to use Bifrost isn’t enough, because you can’t use it all the time. Once you use a certain Bifrost, it will go into a 2-hour cooldown. Other Bifrosts will still be available. Using a Bifrost while it’s not on cooldown costs 1000 Silver but using it while on cooldown costs you Blue Gems.
