BGMI – Battlegrounds Mobile India which was released on 18th August 2021 recent for the Ios devices after first released for the Android devices a month ago from the release of the ios version on 18th June 2021.
BGMI as an Indian version of PUBG Mobile has many players who were waiting for it after the ban of PUBG Mobile which was done in September last year 2020. So after waiting for a long, now ios users can easily play BGMI on their device smoothly.
Leaving some Older Ios devices, which are currently not supported by the Krafton while releasing it.
BGMI Ios Device Not Supported Problem
After the release of BGMI ios version of other ios devices, many of who are still not able to play on older phones, As we got news from the community players, BGMI is no longer supported on the lower end devices such as – ios 5, 6 and 6+ versions of iPhone, which was not a good step by the Krafton for the users who are still using these devices.
So, if you are an old ios user, and see an error that basically says “Your device is not supported at the moment, but it will be included at a later time. Thank you for Understanding”. that means the BGMI has no support to your device, and you cannot play at this time.
But don’t worry here we are giving a working method by which you can easily play with your same device, by changing some device settings and some tweaks that will let you play BGMI on your smaller ios version device.
Minimum Requirements for BGMI ios –
These are the supported iPhone devices, which currently have support for the BGMI, if you have any of these devices, you do not need to worry about them, and this post is definitely not for you.

OS: Ios 9 and Higher

BGMI not supported problem Fix (Solved)
This is the only working method, which can make your BGMI supported on your ios device which was not supported. Make sure to follow every step carefully to make it work.
This method is working, but not 100% effective, you might get crash sometimes while playing a match, that’s completely normal and better than not playing.
1) With Jailbreak
In this method, you will have to use an external app that will change your iPhone device specs through Cydia, so that you can easily play BGMI to that supported version easily. Make sure to note that this method is strictly recommended for the jailbreak of the device.
- Go to Settings on your ios device
- And you will see Model Name as iPhone 6 or iPhone 5
- Now install Fakemodel App and Liberty Lite app
- Open Fakemodel App, Enable it
- Go to User Apps, Select Battlegrounds app
- Choose any Model from there (iPhone 8, 8P or X)
- Now Open Liberty lite app
- Enable Liberty there
- Enable the Battlegrounds under Block Jailbreak Detection there.
- Done!
2) Without Jailbreak
If you are among those, who don’t want to use the above method by changing their Device model, and jailbreaking the device, then there is no way to run the BGMI on your device currently.
The Only Way is to wait for the next Krafton announcement, which will be releasing the support for the lower end ios devices, which will be surely available soon.
As you can see the game message which shows “it will be included soon” is a big hint by Krafton that they are currently working on the unsupported device problem, and will do something in the upcoming days.
