Fall Guys, a well-renowned massively multiplayer party royale game by Mediatonic and Epic Games, is now F2P (free-to-play) on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. While new players are given access to some free rewards, legacy gamers also receive a free Season 1 pass.
It shouldn’t be surprising that players are flooding the servers now that the game is free to play and is available on almost all platforms, with cross-play as well. But unfortunately, Fall Guys is so popular right now that it appears to have some issues.
When things don’t go as planned, the developers of Fall Guys are rather open about it on their official Twitter page, so it’s worth checking if you are concerned if the game servers are down. According to the tweets, it seems the developers have “dropped some cake over the servers” and are now “cleaning up the frosting from the computery bits”.
You may also head over to the Downdetector to check the status of the game’s servers. You should be able to determine whether the game’s servers are experiencing any significant problems.
Another place to check is the website IsTheServiceDown to verify the status of servers.
If the servers are down, there’s nothing you can do to bring the issue to an end rather than just waiting for the developers to fix them. You may also consider touching some grass in the meanwhile.
Thank you.
I was wondering why I couldn’t play.
