Top 10 Indian Esports Pro Players in 2021

Esports in India is growing at a fast rate with now more players playing PC games and competing on higher ranks to show their dominance. These players then start participating in tournaments which helps them enter the esports scene.

Here is the list of the Top 10 Indian esports players currently playing tournaments and who have their stronghold in the esports industry and are making a living out of it. This list is totally based on my perspective and with the growth of esports, it will change further.

Ankit ‘V3nom’ Panth

Ankit Panth, also known as V3nom is a Valorant professional player currently playing for M42 Esports. Born on July 26, 1989, he has also played Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike Global Offensive professionally.

He is also in Team Brutality. With this team, he won the Indian Esports Championship 2016, SuperNova Gaming Carnival 2016, placed second in Conquerors Insignia 2017, and many more. Wishing him “Good luck” on his new journey.

He is an inspiration for many young esports athletes showing them the right path with his content and gaming videos. He is also the brand ambassador of Alienware and Intel and was signed by Redbull as India’s first Redbull athlete in gaming.

SGanesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar

SGanesh Gangadhar aka SkRossi is one of the best Valorant professional players, and he currently plays for Global Esports. Born on October 12, 1998, he has created the fast approach to how he plays Jett and hitting those crisp headshots with the sniper rifle.

With Global Esports he has won Valorant Conquerors Championship, Fight Night, AORUS x AMD Pro Series Valorant, Penta Esports Valorant Invitational, Villager Esports Valorant Championship, and more in 2021.

He received the award of “Most Valuable Player” in VALORANT Conquerors Championship, Penta Esports Valorant Invitational, Skyesports League 2021, and more. He also earned “Top Entry Fragger” in Skyesports League 2021.

Agneya “Marzil” Koushik

Agneya Koushik mainly known as “Marzil” is a retired Counter-Strike Global Offensive player and currently, he plays Valorant professionally for Velocity Gaming. He was born on October 31, 1997.

He has won Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2020, ESL India Premiership: Fall 2020, Indian LAN Gaming – Season 3, and more in his Counter-Strike Global Offensive career. He retired from Counter-Strike: GO in 2021.

With Velocity Gaming, he has won The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 2, The Esports Club Gauntlet Season 1 Regular Season, and more. He currently prefers agents like Killjoy, Raze, and Sky in different maps.

Simar ‘psy’ Sethi

Simar psy Sethi is a Valorant professional player and currently plays for Team XO. Born on born June 1, 1998, Psy has also played Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Counter-Strike Professionally.

He has also won ESL India Premiership: Winter 2019, Mountain Dew Arena 2019, ESL India Premiership: Winter 2018, and more. Psy has also played for Entity Gaming and Team Brutality.

With Team XO earlier Samurai Esports, he has won SKWAD Valorant Open, Lenovo Intel – Valorant Open, Skyesports League 2021, GameEon Valorant Tournament, Yuvin Community Cup Season 3, and more.

Karan “Excali” Mhawadkar

Karan “Excali” Mhawadkar is a Valorant professional player and currently plays for Team XO. Born on born August 30, 1997, Excali has also played Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Counter-Strike Professionally.

He has also won ESL India Premiership: Winter 2019, Mountain Dew Arena 2019, ESL India Premiership: Winter 2018, and more. Excali has also played for Entity Gaming, Team iNvictus, and retired in 2020 to play Valorant professionally.

Tejas ‘rite2ace’ Sawant

Tejas “rite2ace” Sawant earlier known as “Ace” is a Valorant professional player currently playing for Velocity Gaming. Born on August 13, 1993, Tejas also played Counter-Strike Global Offensive Professionally with different teams.

In his Counter-Strike Global Offensive career, he won ESL India Premiership: Winter 2019, ESL India Premiership: Fall 2019, PGX OnePlus CSGO, ESL India Premiership: Summer 2019, and more.

With Velocity Gaming, He has won The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 2, The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 1, The Esports Club Invitational – Season 3, and was runner up in the Valorant Conquerors Championship.

Anuj Amaterasu Sharma

Anuj Sharma, also known as Amaterasu is a Valorant Professional player currently playing for Velocity Gaming. He started his Counter-Strike professional career in 2005 and retired in 2020 in order to play Valorant professionally.

He has won ESL India Premiership: Summer 2020, ESL India Premiership: Winter 2019, PGX OnePlus CSGO, ESL India Premiership: Summer 2019, and more in his Counter-Strike Global Offensive Career.

With Velocity Gaming, He has won The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 2, The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 1, The Esports Club Invitational – Season 3, and was runner up in the Valorant Conquerors Championship.

Debanjan “DeathMakeR” Das

Debanjan “DEATHMAKER” Das also called “DM” is a Valorant professional player currently playing for Velocity Gaming. Born on June 11, 1998, he played Counter-Strike Global Offensive Professionally with Entity Gaming, Global Esports, etc.

In his CS: GO career, he has won ESL India Premiership: Summer 2020, ESL India Premiership: Fall 2019, Mountain Dew Arena 2019, eXTREMESLAND CS: GO Asia 2019 – South Asia, ESL India Premiership: Summer 2019, and more.

In Valorant, He has won The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 2, and Esportz Premier Series: Qualifier #2. He has been awarded as “Most Valuable Player” on day 1 and day 7 in Rooter Rise of Legends and in Skyesports League 2021.

Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani

Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani is a Valorant professional player currently playing for Global Esports. Born on October 8, 1997, he played Counter-Strike Global Offensive Professionally with Entity Gaming, Global Esports, etc.

In his Counter-Strike Global Offensive Career, he has won ESL India Premiership: Summer 2020, ESL India Premiership: Winter 2018, Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2018, Mountain Dew Arena 2018, and more.

Abhay “KnightRider” Mulchandani is a Valorant professional player who used to play for ForceOne. He is one of the fastest-growing Indian Jett players whose aggressive playstyle makes them different.

He has also played Counter-Strike Global Offensive professionally and with God Particles he made it to the Grand Final of Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup INDIA. In terms of agent selection in Valorant, he likes to play Jett, Sage, and Brim.

In Valorant, he has won Lenovo Ultimate Cup, Amazon Prime Day – Valorant Championship, NGL India Streamers Battle, and finished runner up in Frontier Warriors – University Esports League, and second runner up in The Esports Club Gauntlet – Season 2.
